Current Artwork: Be(e) Aware

The title of my work “Be (e) aware” is a pun. Correspondingly it means to be aware and careful – but not here before the sting
of the bees, but in this case the bee colonies are in danger by monoculture economy and changed environmental influences.

Although they are not yet threatened with extinction, the situation
for the bees is critical. Globally, beekeeper services offered by beekeepers are becoming more expensive.

One third of our food grows exclusively after pollination by bees.

The bees and honeycombs of my work are white, only by the
lighting they are honey yellow. “Be (e) aware” is a signal – yet the honey is flowing …
